Held simultaneously every two years, the fairs EXPOBOR – International Rubber Technology Show and PNEUSHOW RECAUFAIR – International Tire Industry Expo ended on Friday (25) in Săo Paulo.
The 11th edition of the fairs was marked by high qualification from professionals who were visiting and by great business activity. "Those who attended were here to close deals," says Abdala Jamil Abdala, president of Francal Feiras, promoter and organizer of both events. "What we saw during these three days was full booths and satisfied exhibitors."
In addition to the great drive in the booths, the auditorium where Painel Pneushow 2014 took place was crowded all the time. The news this year was a full day of lectures dedicated exclusively to the tire industry.
For the first time, some of the largest tire manufacturers in Brazil and in the world – Sumitomo Dunlop, Bridgestone Firestone, Vipal, Pirelli and Continental – spoke directly to their customers of the transport and reform sector, and presented their innovations, solutions and prospects for the market.
Lúcia Cristina, business manager of Francal Feiras, highlights the importance of the initiative. "Dealers, shopkeepers, professionals often want to be in contact with manufacturers, expose their needs, ask questions. For the industry, on the other hand, this is a unique opportunity to receive feedback from clients and improve their processes”. According to the evaluation of the business manager, the activities in the auditorium complemented the work of lecturer companies that also had a booth at Pneushow-Recaufair and helped boost business.
The lectures presented on the second day of Painel Pneushow (25) by representative bodies ARESP, ABR and Reciclanip also relied on the significant attendance of fair visitors.
