Rubber is used in many areas of the industry and consumables, and one of its greatest producers in the globe is Brazil. With sales revenues of US$ 2.82 billion recorded in 2013, it catches the attention of players from all over the world (Source: ABIARB – Brazilian Association of the Industry of Rubber Goods).
The Expobor 2014 - 11th International Rubber Technology Show, which takes place every two years, is organized by Francal Feiras and is the only fair that represents the rubber industry in Latin America. This event has been established as the meeting spot for discussing new ideas, presenting new products, partnering and doing business.
This edition brings together 120 exhibitors of the rubber goods, automation, research centers, laboratory equipment, molds and tool rooms, machines, power systems, production and recycling technology, waste treatment sectors, among others, in an area of 16 thousand m2 (52 thousand ft2). They include 47 international exhibitors from China, Spain, Taiwan, United States, Italy, Germany, Poland and Colombia.
The fair is attended by professionals of the rubber goods, automotive, footwear, oil, steel and pneumatic industries, among many others which use rubber as raw material or component. Some of the visitors are international and come, mainly, from North, Central and South Americas, Europe and Asia.
The Expobor 2014 happens simultaneously with the Pneushow-Recaufair 2014, 11th International Tire Industry Expo, which is the biggest trade event of the continent to present the complete tire production chain – raw material, repair, maintenance, equipment and recycling. Nearly 10 thousand professional visitors are expected to attend both fairs.
